Dr Kirstin has a PhD exploring the use of creative arts in the treatment of depression, a Master of Counselling, a Master of Arts (Hons), and a Bachelor of Arts (Psych),. She is a retired Registered Nurse, and an associate of Concord Hospital (Sydney) in the field of Parkinson's Disease.

Neurological Psychotherapy & Rehabilitation Counselling
Dr Kirstin specialises in neurological psychotherapy and rehabilitation counselling, including Dementia, and Parkinson's Disease. She is associated with the Parkinson's Unit at the Concord Hospital, Sydney, and formerly was a practitioner with Dementia Australia. Her therapeutic style has been developed over some 30-years of study and clinical practice. She prepares a therapy programme specifically for each client which features appropriate combinations of psychometric tests, counselling, emotional support, symptom management, guided meditations, and advice on how to cope with cognitive and emotional changes. She lives in Canberra and is available for clients by phone, Zoom or Skype from anywhere. There are no home visits, and no referrals are necessary.
